As part of the 20th anniversary of International Development Week, Ms. Biggs will discuss some of the
development challenges facing the world today and how CIDA is managing its program in the face of
these challenges.
Ms. Biggs was appointed President of the Canadian International Development Agency in July 2008. Prior
to her appointment at CIDA, she was the Deputy Secretary to Cabinet in the Privy Council Office and has
held a variety of senior positions in the federal government.
Ms. Biggs has an M.A. from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs.
Parking available in the parking garage beside Robertson Hall.
Students attend for free; Other attendees: $10. All proceeds will go towards Haiti relief.
